I grew up in rural Northern California and draw a lot of inspiration from the natural world. The fantastical and feral spirit of being a child in the woods gifted me a large imagination. In my art and tattoos I hope to combine my love of storytelling and nature to bring to life my clients’ ideas.
In my tattoo practice I hope to create a space in which my clients feel seen and heard and can walk out with a piece they are proud of that took mutual effort to create. I believe we all carry our past experiences with us and getting tattoos is a sacred way to commemorate the past as well as express and manifest the future we envision for ourselves. I am open to all tattoo requests but here are some details to get a clearer idea if I am a good fit for you:
Things I draw inspiration from:
- flowers, plants, vegetables/fruits, botanical illustrations, folklore, religion/spirituality, scorpions, moths/butterflies/other insects,
decorative designs
- line work, black and gray, dot work
Cover Ups: I can always work with and around older tattoos to give them new life or a new focal point
Projects I am not currently comfortable taking on:
- large all color pieces, portraits/photo realism
